Flow Principal, Mairi Joyce, acts as a team leader on NZTA’s nationwide Road Infrastructure Safety Assessments (RISAs.) Mairi is part of the NZTA RISA team, which comprises 14 professionals from across New Zealand who undertake Road Infrastructure Safety Assessments (RISA) on behalf of NZTA for road controlling authorities nationwide.
Each RISA takes approximately three days and involves assessing the potential risk of the various elements of the road environment, and making recommendations to reduce this risk. The team then presents their findings to road controlling authorities.
Mairi acts as a team leader on many of the RISAs and undertakes around three RISAs annually.
