Flow was engaged by Regional Facilities Auckland to determine the existing parking demand of the Western Springs Precinct and identify future parking constraints as the Precinct develops. The project involved analysing existing parking demands within the Precinct, notably assessing whether there is currently sufficient parking provision to accommodate key land uses, such as; Auckland Zoo, MOTAT, Western Springs College and Western Springs Stadium. The determined parking provisions were then further tested, assessing whether future growth within the Precinct could be accommodated. Solutions to alleviate future parking issues within the Precinct were also put forward to Regional Facilities Auckland for further consideration.
